with the Pick by Light system, Fiege reaches higher productivities.
Dimensions of the facility: 45 m x 35 m
Theoretiical Output: 600 parcels/hour
Facility capacity: 1000 light points + 250 locations dedicated to RadioFrequency picking
The processes:
- transformation from driver ‘order' to driver ‘parcel': 1 order with x parcels
- carton parcel creation with automatic packing system
- arrival of the parcels at the labaelling station: here the parcel is labelled with the order and destination information
- deviation of the parcel to the pick location
- filling of the parcels
- deviation of the parcel to the check location where the AIC bracodes are scanned and the SKUs and their quantities are confirmed in the scanner
- closing of the parcels
- palletization
